During my senior year of high school, I worked with the Center for Personalized Medicine at Children's Hospital Los Angeles to develop a pipeline for a new type of gene sequencing. Using tools like Docker and Python, I compiled existing gene sequencing tools into a streamlined and easy-to-use format that could help researchers and doctors interpret long-read gene sequencing results.
